Miami is sitting on the Gold Coast of Florida and is a very popular tourist destination. Thanks to Florida being the sunshine state, the weather here in Miami is almost always warm.  This area is beautiful and comes complete with all the bells and whistles. You have everything from lounging on the beach to shopping like a celebrity. If you are seeking the sun in a spot full of attractions, then this is your destination.  There are a variety of Miami attractions scattered throughout that you will enjoy.

Miami is a great place to bring children of any age as there are many Miami attractions that have been created with children in mind. There are many family oriented Miami attractions.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens – For those of you that enjoy visiting magnificent museums, you cannot pass up Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This is one of the best museums to be found in the United States as it contains many wonderful historic artefacts and artwork.

Oleta River State Park – If you are the type of person who enjoys going down trails on your bike, then Oleta River State Park is a great attraction for you. Biking along bodies of water sounds like a lot of fun.

Zoo Miami – When you are on vacation, you cannot pass up the local zoo. Zoo Miami is a sanctuary for rare, threatened and endangered animals. Some of the animals here include crocodiles, tigers and a Komodo Dragon. If you have kids, they can take part in the animal education programs that are available for children of all ages.

Deep Sea Fishing Miami: Jumanji – Going deep see fishing and enjoying the Miami Beach is a lot of fun. This is the only place in Miami where you can have a party on the beach and catch huge fish such as shark, sailfish, tarpon, kingfish, grouper and snapper. The crew that will be on Jumanji with you are experts in various types of fishing in this type of water. You can go on Jumanji on shared charter or on private charter.

Everglades – For a hair-raising adventure, you may want to go out and visit the Everglades. The Everglades, a part of Florida State’s National Park, is home to many endangered species such as the Florida Panther and the American Crocodile.

Crandon Park Beach – No trip to this area will be complete without visiting Crandon Park Beach. This is a great place for children and parents. The sun is perfect for getting that nice tan and there is even an amusement park for the children. This beach is nesting amongst the top ten beaches in the United States. You will also find a nature park and a wide range of concession stands. You will even have the chance to go surfing and kayaking.
